Saw a piece in CBS news the other day about sensory deprivation tanks. Anyone ever experienced one?

    Yes!

Still Point Wellness here in Asheville has one. I did it a few years ago, pretty neat experience. A bit "trippy".

Nice to hear. I may check it out sometime. Looks like a good way to unplug.

I heard Joe Rogan praise them and had to try it. Glad I did, but it wasn't cheap.

Yeah, looks about the same price as a massage, but without, you know, the massaging.

Yep. I would prefer this over a massage. I'm weird about strangers rubbing all over me

I love a good massage. Couldn't run a marathon without getting a few during training.

That was a bright spot - didn't watch the game though, forgot about it until right before I went to bed and checked the score.

Maybe you have the wrong strangers.

Seriously though, if I had unlimited resources, I would get a weekly massage. A luxury that I truly enjoy.

Graduation weekend is coming! Heading to Pittsburgh for Niece Elizabeth's graduation this weekend. Can't wait to see everyong and celebrate. Sister & Brother-in-law are driving so they are taking my wine/chocolate contribution for the weekend. (8 bottles of red, a magnum of champagne, and a batch of fudge - that should hold us for a while.)

He did honor his side of the contract but the house is no longer available through VRBO. Glad we didn't have to try to find another house in the last few weeks before graduation. We had booked this one last June.

Asheville area friends (there seems to be a number of you) -- Todd Snider is playing tonight at Salvage Station (looks like an outdoor show). If you like it, you can thank me by buying me a beer sometime. If you don't, I owe you.

Talented, funny, always interesting and entertaining.

The Salvage Station is a cool venue. Not sure what my plans are, but may stop by to check it out.

    I’m hoping a pansy wins.
