Coworkers flight routing through Atlanta this evening has been cancelled. Is there a worse city at handling snow than Atlanta?
According to the forecast - we're getting snow tomorrow. But only 3-6 inches. So, not too bad.

We're not good at it. But I'm looking out the window right now at conditions that appear considerably worse than anything anyone predicted. And we're in the midst of another widespread early dismissal of students, workers, etc. all across the metro area.
Let's just say I'm glad that my commute has gone from 17 miles across 4 counties during Snowjam 2014 (a 7-hour trip for me that day, and I was one of the lucky ones), to 4 miles right up the road now. I'll walk home today if I have to.
Easily five inches here already. Went home early, promptly slipped sideways into the ditch in front of my house, even in 4WD. Sheesh.
Getting bad here. The weather’s not actually thaaaat bad at this point; has downshifted to a wintry mix. The gridlock, on the other hand...Prepare to hear shades of 2014 Snowpocalypse all over again.
What will happen when the page count of this thread rolls over to 1000?
I suggest a few minutes of running around in circles and then back to observing the oddities of personal circumstances.
We could also make a pact to toast each other that day or the next at 5:00pm with a beverage of choice. Or 11:00am, whatever floats your boat.

Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'
How do we make sure that bd gets the post to put us over the top?
“I do not think that word means what you think it means.”
Just watched Emmit Otter's Jug Band Christmas and cried a bit.
Unlike all the rest of the posts here which have never been nonsense.
Never, ever, ever.
We're at 1000 pages right now where I'm sitting.
Time to party!!
Hey - maybe I can just get us to 20,000 right now.
