It might still be good. National chain stores are much more likely to honor old gift cards I have discovered. It's worth taking it with you the next time you go to Lowes, just in case. Or, you could contact their customer service and ask, if you want to take the trouble.

    No, not this time.

Lots of preaching and "example pointing out" amongst various and sundry folks. My baleful stare has been on overdrive. No family actions, just a few long-winded friends.

Better to hang loose here at the farm and shoot off the potato gun for fun.

Our potato gun is really an apple gun. Two apple trees with inedible apples. Inedible unless you cook them down with lots of spices and sugar, anyway.

But really fun ammo! It was a fun battle between the apple gun and the RC airplane! (The plane won/survived.)

That's interesting. I'll pass that on to the Minister of Armaments here at headquarters.

How about the added excitement of shooting it off at night when the fumes light up as the ammo leaves the tube?

    Now we're partying!

Because I know you're all dying to know...

I was just informed that I am a finalist for one of my top two potential jobs.

I also have another interview for the other job I'm interested in.

I'm hoping I get an offer from one so I don't have to choose. I'm too indecisive for options.

So, yesterday, I am in the Homestead Market parking lot in south Durham. Driving slowly through when a guy in a massive SUV comes down a parking lane, not paying attention, and forces me to slam on my brakes b/c it looks like he is going to hit me. I do not honk, gesture, or anything to him (at least not anything that he can see or hear). Yet, he FLIPS ME OFF! HE nearly hits ME, gets no reaction from me, yet I am the one who gets the bird. I really dislike people sometimes.
