Excellent choice. From a seminal work in the canon.

First season was the best. Except for Kamp Krusty (my all-time favorite) and Cape Fear.

I’m not sure when it cratered but I remember enjoying them for many many seasons. When they were more like a real family they were great but then they became caricatures of their original characters...that’s when it became not so great.

No, but they look cool! We do have some mink that run around the deck in the summer on occasion terrorizing the squirrels...formidable little chaps.

    I'd prefer a grape ape...

I've heard a few biologists say that if mink were much bigger, we'd all be in trouble.

There are definitely ebbs and flows to the DBR posting cadence.

I didn't know who Dan Dakich was before that thread. Sure I heard him on the ESPNs at some point; never institutionalized his name in my brain though. Guess I didn't miss anything.

He is the dude who shut down Jordan in 84 when UNC was an absolute juggernaut.

I took a family trip to Iceland a couple of years ago and while there, couldn't resist the Icelandic version of the Gatlinburg/Myrtle Beach old timey photo. It was great fun and the results are, I've been told, rather Vigo the Carpathian-like.
