Sheesh... I go out of town for three days, EJ is getting used to his new job, and BD is overcoming knee issues. The Huck thread died. And BBreen has actually had to do some real work.

And the best we can do is talk about the end of the thread?

Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? NO, I say. It's time to continue this thread in the most absurb way known to the DBR ...

99 bottles of beer on the wall ...

We'll see. I'm not in charge of this thread anymore. It's taken on a life of it's own. Perhaps it will drift towards the bottom of the front page, maybe even slip over onto the second page, but somehow I think someone will continue to rescue it. We'll see.

And just when you think you've gotten out, they pull you back in.

Anybody switching to Old Spice deoderant because of the Will Ferrell as Jackie Moon commercials? Gotta say, I love that wig! When somebody sees the movie, tell me if I can take the kids to see it (ages 7 - 14). Of course the 14 year old can go and I'm not taking the 3 year old, it's the two in the middle I'm mostly thinking about.

Ymo, that's not going to stop this thread...

So, in that case, take one down, pass it around, 96 bottles of beer on the (OT) wall!

Now that I think of it, maybe this diversion belongs on the "Ymm, Beer" thread.

Take one down, pass it around, 95 bottles of beer on the wall!

So the question is, how many bottles make it off the wall before we all get sick of this? I'm guessing we get to 71.

Take one down, pass it around, 92 bottles of beer on the wall.

This thread sort of reminds me of Bob & Doug McKenzie's Christmas Song:
    4 pounds of back bacon,
    3 French toast,
    2 turtlenecks,
and a beer, in a tree.

Take one down, pass it around, 89 bottles of Sweetwater Happy Ending beer on the wall.

Ok, it took a while to extrude this from the old, mothballed archive, but here is the old "Who Am I?" thread.
