That was pounded in my head at b-school, whatever you do, set up the LLC. Unfortunately, I've never undertaken an activity that would require one.

It sounds like a simple “he said/she said” with no third party witnesses, and you ain’t from around there.

You may be able to call the court and ask who the prosecutor/solicitor is, and then call them to see if you can make a deal. Of course, anything you say can and will be used against you. But you may be able to enter a nolo contendere (“no contest” — not an admission of guilt but not contesting the charge) and pay a reduced fine to resolve.

I hate to give the real answer — hire a local lawyer if you want to fight it — but that is the best (yet most expensive) answer. The key word there is local. But that likely costs more than the ticket.

Again, you’re in a tough spot.
Yeah. I don't care about being right honestly. Cheapest and most expedient without costing me on insurance.

So, having access to underwiring data, any reasonably good insurance company will find that violation. The real question is how much they will charge for it.

Perhaps ask the court if you can take an online class to keep it off your record? I know here in TX there are companies that specialize in such things for Texans.

Both games on at the same time. Both teams losing by 7.

Two losses, in different fashion but same root cause.

Loved the effort by Duke to get back in that game. Great game and great effort on the road.

Upon further reflection, this is a pretty harsh thing to screech in public at someone and I cannot condone:

"True love saved her in the Fire Swamp, and she treated it like garbage! And that's what she is! The Queen of Refuse! So bow down to her if you want! Bow to her! Bow to the Queen of Slime! The Queen of Filth! The Queen of Putrescence!"

In the words of Dani Rojas — “harsh, but fair.”

Actually, one of my favorite quotes. And I can recite that entire film EXCEPT for that one line from Miracle Max. Even Closed Captioning says something like "UNINTELLIGIBLE".

Anyone know WHAT he is saying there? The one thing I would like to ask Billy Crystal.

We're reading The Princess Bride in class right now (fabulous read, btw, even if you've already seen the movie), and will be watching the film in a few weeks once we're done.

My thought this morning on the other hand was we've not had enough Princess Bride references lately. Then this suddenly appeared.

Take a survey, please, and ask your students what the hell is he saying?

I bet pretty much every student who puts forth any effort at all thinks of you as their favorite teacher.

Right? And then just imagine him with ABS (fitness thread). He’d be rolling into school like:
