Never had em. But then again I was born in MA and raised in NJ.... so I guess that's no surprise.

The Cambridge Inn, adjacent to the Great Hall. It now houses Chick-fil-A and Alpine Bagels (or at least it did as of about 2005).

I heard that someone once called Patrick Davidson a poopyhead. The namecaller was later found buried head-first in watermelon patch with his legs perfectly shaved and a bite taken out of his left foot.

There I was, doing extensive, detailed research (all for YOU) into determining what is actually the "longest thread" in history when I came to read that I have been called a "Doodyhead" AND a "Poopyhead."

Well let me ask you this: Could a Doodyhead or a Poopyhead, uncover some of the world's greatest secrets such as this? Evidence of what is TRULY the "longest thread"...

I, EarlJam, love, love, love, love, LOVE black-eyed peas with collards (and cornbread). Wilson, will you date me so that you can take me to your mom's for some good Southern cooking?

Q: What were the last words uttered by Elvis?

    A: Corn? I don't remember eating corn.

No kidding, Elvis' last words were pretty funny in a tragic sort of way without making a joke up. He was told by his mistress not to fall asleep on the toilet, replied "OK, I won't," and then died on the crapper instead.

    The CI is gone?!?

Yep, you can ask another question now, if you want to!

    LOL at the carrot joke!

I have to admit I didn't get it until Wilson's post. Then it was funny.

I can think of at least one black eyed pea that I would like to eat.

It's not gone, but if "The Cambridge Inn" was once an establishment rather than a place, then it doesn't exist anymore. The Chick-fil-A ladies at the CI, however, are the most delightful people on the campus of Duke University, hands down.

A pirate walks into a bar with a ship's wheel crammed down the front of his pants. Bartender looks up and says, "Hey man, you know you have a ship's wheel in your pants?"
"Yaaarrrr," the pirate replies. "It's drivin' me nuts."
