Today is an epic mini-golf throw down between my husband, 3 of the 4 boys, and me. Paddies is in Maryland, but the rest of us are going to Kimball Farms for a battle royale. I WILL be leaving my purse in the car. I don't always win when I leave my purse in the car, but I have never finished last.

I hadn't posted for a few days so I thought it was time to catch everybody up on my life. I'm going to pretend you are all very interested.

I'm running the Falmouth Road Race next Sunday, 8/21, raising money with the One Summit team. I have not yet reached the team minimum - I'm super close, but not there yet, so if anybody here wants to throw a few bucks at a very worthy cause, send me PM and I'll send you a link to the team's page.

In any event, I signed up for several courses this fall.
    HFE554 - Chair Yoga
    PAH854 - Beginner Bridge
PPG1367 - What is "Whole Brain Thinking” (WBT)?
CEB1733 - Understanding and Planning for Long Term Care
BTE1164b - Indian Cooking (one single class)
I don't know why chairs need yoga but Indian Cooking sounds Yum! My wife was born in Scotland and she and her mother make a lot of British bastardized Indian curries. They're often quite good but also not the same.

Put the trail camera under the bird feeder tonight. See if anything comes shuffling around the sunflower at night.

Sad news. We went to an old favorite because it's always been a great course. In recent years they have expanded what's there to include bumper boats and an arcade and a few other attractions. Today was, by far, the most crowded we had ever seen it with a 90 minute wait to get on the course. Yeah, no. We didn't play. We'd already been in the car around 40 minutes and going to one of the other courses we like would have involved at least another 40 minute drive. We went for lunch then stopped at our favorite soft serve ice cream place on the way home.

Loud laughing is not polite in Hawaii but a lo ha is appropriate.

Would that be a Hawaiian comedian's opening joke, or maybe the last one?

As Yogi said, no one ever goes there any more because it's too crowded.

Either way, the crowd would be very Maui!
