I am also very 'over' barn doors.

We have The Barn Door restaurant here in San Antonio. I took my parents there last year. We had last been there together in 1974 when I was 3.

I do need a new kitchen, but I also kinda hate the trend of backsplashes. I don't want busy tile over my counters. If we redo the kitchen and I get a backsplash, it will be all white.

I did tumbled marble with a textured inser the same color. Still like it. White subway tile is nice.

Up early in VA Bch to watch a supply launch headed to the space station from Wallops Island. Literally one minute to launch when a stupid private plane entered the area and launch was scrubbed..

Major disappointment. Can't stay for new launch tomorrow. Rats!!!!

Major disappointment. Can't stay for new launch tomorrow. Rats!!!!

A well placed Browning .50 cal could have addressed that issue quickly.

About 24 hours from now the excitement meter will start pinging for the game against msu. That old magical DUKE BASKETBALL feeling!!!

Have to get my at home fan outfit ready. More relaxed then in person game attire, it features stunning DUKE sweatpants and a very old DUKE shirt.
