Things that make you go hmmm,

I was running errands yesterday morning and saw a postal truck at the cemetary.

Perhaps they should change their motto to "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night nor death stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Course that really isn't their motto, it is the inscription of the post office building at 8th Ave and 33rd St in NYC.

Things that make you go hmmm,

There hasn't been a post since last night - that makes me go hmmm.

    Happy Monday to all.

    Here's a post...

The wife and I went to Foster's for a late lunch on Saturday after the BC game... guess who was in line behind me at the counter placing an order after I placed mine?

    That's right... Patrick Davidson.

Could be worse...could be Jimmy Fallon. I would pay money to punch him in the junk.

Was it part of Jimmy's character to not be able to get through a sketch without breaking character? If so, he was great at playing that.

He's really good at sucking and being unfunny too.
He is about half a notch above Fleetwood Mac in my book.

    Question Bark!

With all these dog avatars, I wonder if anyone is pulling for a particular winner in the 132nd Westminster Dog Show.

In honor of Snoopy, I'm pulling for Uno the Beagle

The cocker, the Bernese, the newf, and the Pyrenees. In that order, every year

The bulldog took second in its group!

I'm a big fan of the hounds (blood, coon, bassett), and the little terriers like norwich and norfolk. Corgis are cool in the herding group.

I also like the mop dogs -- pulis and commondores (sp?)

Agree on all those picks. Those are cool dogs.

Also, for the record, Best in Show is the greatest movie ever made.

My mother, aunt, and uncle have a standing date to watch the show together. I got invited this year too. I left before Best in Show (which, by the way, was judged by a former Dean of Students from Emory). I was totally disinterested in all seven of those dogs. Two poodles?!?!

'Harlan Pepper, you stop naming nuts.'

I had to miss last night to go to my playwright's workshop. Thanks for letting me know the beagle won! First hound since 1983 and the first beagle ever to win Best in Show at Westminster. Good job and yea no poodles. I know they are supposed to be great dogs but they sure look annoying in the ring.

    Happy Birthday Coach K.

Buck Laughlin: Am I nuts? Something's wrong with his feet.
Trevor Beckwith: I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but you're right.
