    Cottontail? Or cottonmouth?

I'd lock my doors tonight regardless.

Holy Moly, matty! Glad to hear you are ok but surely shaken up a bit. Wow, take it easy and keep us informed!

    Dang.

Glad you're OK. PM if you need anything from a local-ish Dukie.

There was one hopping around my side yard in the dark when I got home this evening. It didn't look at me. It knows better.

When my kids were little, I convinced them that monsters were afraid of Mommies. (I also convinced them that I had an invisible third eye on the back of my head.) Eastern cottontails need no convincing. When Mom comes home, they run.

Sorry to hear about the car but really glad you both are ok. Cars can be replaced. You two can't be.

Accidents can be quite traumatic. Wife and I were in a bad one we probably shouldn't have survived eleven years ago, and I still flinch when someone approaches quickly from the passenger side.

Glad you are okay. Take some time to catch your breath, if needed.

Apparently just that is too short for a post.

    We are okay.

Sorry for the delayed update, yesterday was a busy day. A lot more sore the day after, that is for sure. We were at a complete stop when he hit us at about 40-45 mph. We both have some pretty bad whiplash but feeling better than we did yesterday.

Thank you for the update. I'm glad you are only sore. May you both get lots of rest and heal quickly. Let us know if we need to send comfort food or beer.

Yeah, two days after is the most sore, in my experience. If you need anything, reach out to your local DBR crew.

    Good to hear matty!

Today I saw some pictures of me dancing at a recent wedding. I am trying to get over the shock that I, apparently, dance like a train wreck. I am seriously taken aback at my completely not cool dance moves.
It's time to hang up my watusi. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OU_Ppxgs9Q

My husband and I - many years ago now - went to a wedding in Rye, New York. The reception was held at the same country club where George HW met Barbara for the first time. After we took a spin on the dance floor, an older couple admitted to us that they were copying our moves then asked if we were professional dancers. It's now one of our oft told tales.
