    Traveling for work there are bathroom emergencies where one has to contemplate whether it is more sanitary to wash your hands or not. I have been in some service station restrooms that have probably had chalk outlines at one point or another and were definitely the spot where somewhere between 1 & 5 sexually transmitted diseases first began.

    I get that, even not traveling for work. Sometimes, the best path is just to get out of the rest room ASAP and sanitize at your first opportunity.
