Really? Why? I've never thought they were that big of a thing.

But these things, well, they kind of were a thing. Some kind of a thing.

I knew what was pictured at the link before I clicked on it.

The Ranger is coming back early 2019.

Then you have the Colorado and Tacoma.

But it has been a while since the Subaru Brat.

Drove a 96 Ranger for about five years. Sold it 3 years ago. I still miss it.

I miss the Chevy S10 but I've heard mixed things about the Colorado. The Rangers were great little trucks but the new ones look about the same size of the F150 to me.

Might just buy a 2010 or 2011 Ranger.

My 2006 Trailblazer is pushing 200k miles and needs new tires. I've had it for about 9 years, and although I love it, it's time to be replaced. Not sure if I want to put more money into it.

If you're looking for full sized here's a pickup I saw at a Blake Shelton concert. That's a full sized person standing in front of the F650.

And it's already in a Duke Blue!

I always eschew getting step ups on every truck and suv we buy. Since I'm tall, I don't want to worry about cracking my shins. Short people aren't my concern.

But, with that vehicle, even I would need a boost or a ladder. Or maybe have Blake Shelton pick me up, light as a feather and gently lower me into the driver's seat.

    No, yeah, I'm driving Blake.

I graduated from grad school 15 years ago. I'm not nearly as young as I used to be.

3 days between posts? Time to put a fork in it?

It's just that time of year when outside duties call.

So, here's an early Happy Father's Day to all our dads here. And if you're not a dad, thanks for being you!

Does one need a special license to drive this thing? If there are a bunch of 5' 3" soccer moms taking this rig to the grocery store - no, thank you.

That's not the longest gap we've ever had, I'm sure.

Othello opened last night. We had a good crowd. Even better when you consider it looked like it might rain. It didn't. We finished right at sunset and I think it's a great show.

Why would we talk about Pop Tarts when we can discuss rotation length, specifically during the Krzyzewski era?

We are heading out of town for a wedding this weekend. Sunday is also a big anniversary for me and husband-of-weezie.

I am going to keep a careful watch on himself to make sure he doesn't leap up and yell, "DON'T DO IT!" when the minister asks for any objections.
