What's better than trying on a pair of last year's cute linen shorts that were, ahem, a teensy bit too tight last summer and discovering that that are now a full size too big?!!!
I'll tell ya'...puling out a clean washed $20 bill from the pocket!

I have won the Thursday lottery in my head!!!
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Will be working on another short film this weekend. Shooting blank rounds at real people is almost as fun as shooting live rounds at targets

My friend David is the director, so I guess him. It is for the annual My Rode Reel competition.

Here is his submission from last year that I appeared in (only 3 mins long).

I'm coming at you from some experience in stage combat - you do know that even when you are firing blanks you should never, ever, ever point a gun at an actual person - right? There are actual laws in theater about gun usage. Even if you have a fake gun that could never even be loaded let along fired, it is against the law to point it at an audience member. We had a prop gun like that in the last show I worked on. Our stage had seating on three sides, we had to have a fight choreographer stage the bit where the gun got pulled out at the end of Act II so that no audience member would be in the sight lines of the gun. I'm kind of nutty about prop gun safety.

    Yep...

We were not pointing directly at each other. They were very strict with that.

All about the camera placement. Some shots were not actual blanks.

    Safety first!

Booking travel for work is an exhausting process.

Yay for spending 3 days in the middle of nowhere Iowa.

Depends. Most of my travel booking is a constant balance of cost versus comfort. Hopefully, traveling for work, you can err on the side of comfort.

If you go through Kansas City and should get stuck, give me a holler.
