We aren't really helping ourselves. Too much or too little George Clinton?
They are over a million.
They even have a secondary thread for knitters who are daunted by the million+ posts that is longer than this one.
That said - I think there are more of them than there are of us. (I have never posted in the knitters' thread, nicknamed Fred.)

5 days without a post? We'll neer catch thoe knitters. I think everyone is okay with that.
I'm at the beach sitting on the deck drinking a beer, or three, and waiting for a Wallops Island launch.
A bit more exciting than knitting.

Pancake bunny 2.0. I like the original better, but still cute.

Mojo rising...
LA Woman...
I think it was...
Ha. I like the Doors, but I think I identify with this a bit more (since I grew up there).
Thought I'd mention that my cat, Chloe, who is pictured in my sig file below, is 15 years old. 15 years 4 months to be exact. I adopted her from a rescue when she was 10 weeks old. She was born in a feral colony, and has since lived with me in the following locations: OH, VA, NV (1), CA (1), NV (2), CA (2).
She used to fly, but she got so anxious the last time several years ago, that it's only car trips for her now. She does great when we go to Vegas (~ 4 hours) to see my folks, that is, once we pass the exit for the vet's office which is 15 minutes away. Somehow she knows.
I almost lost her this time last year. Seriously came within 5 minutes of deciding to put her down at the emergency vet. But she's doing well these days... as well as a 15 year old cat with senior cat heath issues can be, so no complaints here.
A skunk came and ate our cat's food yesterday.
We live in the boonies. That's some big time excitement right there. And for the record, she's a barn-house cat, spayed, vet shots all up to date, doesn't hurt birdies and follows me around like her own personal object of adoration.
Just so no one thinks I'm not being a good cat owner.
