    Neither do the refs, apparently.

    Flip and ref after game!

Why was ref talking to Flip after game? Never have seen that!

In the handshake line it appeared that one of the refs was having a focused conversation with Flip. Anyone else notice this? Any insight as to the reason?

He said, "I've put in a request to officiate the Duke-UVA game. You're going down."

    You arenít the only one!

I especially liked Bonnerís attempt at explanations following the block called on Blakeís with the initial explanation that he was in the restricted area, except for the fact the fact that he wasnít.

I think it was McCain that was plowed over and in slow motion it appeared that he was leaning backwards before the 2nd shoulder lowering and the fact that he was already going to the ground before the 2nd lowered shoulder was the explanation for it not being a charge, I donít think that was visible real time and not sure that makes it a block.

In general, I'm in favor of the call being more favorable to the ballhandler than the defender. Refs have long since gotten to charge happy when defenders jump in under a committed driver. The Blakes call was borderline, but I'd rather the borderline calls go to the offensive player. I feel like if it isn't clearly a charge, call it a block. That's not to say that all of the calls were correct or anything; I'm sure there were some that I am forgetting. But the Blakes one was on that border of jumping in under a driver (he was in the restricted area until he jumped forward at the last minute).

To be fair, that one wasn't called a block or charge. It was (correctly, unfortunately) called "no foul," as there was no/minimal contact.
