Just watched the end. That was some bad football. Dumb plays. If the QB wasn't trying to be a tough guy with his posing, they might not have called the helmet penalty on him.

The quarterback is an idiot. Five interceptions in two games. He gets lucky on the conversion, then takes off his helmet to stare at the crowd. NC State gets good field position and wins the game.

Let's not forget the idiot offensive lineman who head butted the opponent. Both these teams are garbage.

I guess I got a different slant on the QB flex/helmet off/whatever call, because I thought it was BS. The helmet looked like it was coming off on its own at one point, and I can see him removing it just to get a better look at the play result. I can't blame him for celebrating that result, it was worth celebrating and I didn't think it came anywhere close to flag-worthy (unless the flag was for the celebration being so stupid-looking). I believe UVA got hosed on that one.

What brought about this new penalty? There was one in the Lafayette game. Please don't say someone has an axe to grind against 12 days of Christmas.
