I'm torn on the FSU/Clemson game. Clemson needs to get back to being ranked so our win looks better, and I hate the Noles. But FSU is our better bet for having an ACC rep in the playoffs. If they get beaten by an unranked team, even one named Clemson, they will drop like a rock.
I'm not torn at all on the last game. Go Panthers!
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."
Huge game in Clemson this week. The ACC's two best teams face off. FSU played great the first week but not so great since. Clemson played pretty bad the first week and have used the last two weeks against weak teams to prep for this game. The spread is only 2.5 in favor of FSU. I suspect that if the game was in Florida that spread would be more like 5.
Thanks Bob Green and Neals384. These threads each week are very helpful.
I think the NCSU at UVa game is actually Friday though.
It's like picking a candidate to vote for, which one do I hate less. Hard to choose.
Generally speaking in this type of game, I go for the road team so there's more chances for shots of crying fans and surrender cobras.
Too early to worry about implications for bowls or conference standings impact.
Hail to Pitt.
Duke, UNC, Miami, Louisville, and Syracuse have all comfortably looked better than Clemson thus far this season, IMO.
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
The Pitt offense looked terrible vs WVU. Defense seemed OK but WVU offense is not the UNC offense. I expect the Cheats to style all over Pitt and unfortunately I think Pitt will have their offense figured out by the last game of the season...or maybe not. But right now they look bad and very beatable.
State scores on first play of 2nd quarter to go up 7-0.

State was threatening to score but Brennan Armstrong throws an interception for the games first turnover.
