All the models show it not reaching hurricane strength. Fingers crossed.

At this point, whether it's designated hurricane status or not, the affects will be the same for us. Path still has it rolling right over the top of us. It's amazing how much a small distance from the center of the storm can change how strong the winds are. If we were 10-20 miles west, we'd be only gusty vs very windy.
Unfortunately for waterside folks, surge guesstimates have climbed, so I know a few of my friends are nervous about their homes and businesses.
Winds have continued to pick up, I expect we'll be maxing on out what we'll be feeling as the sun comes up.

    I was more thinking:

    I, I, when I was younger
I, I, should have known better
And I can't feel no remorse
And you don't feel nothing back

    Oh, Oh, Ophelia
You've been on my mind girl since the flood
    Oh, Oh, Ophelia
Heaven help a fool who falls in love

Aside from the occasional tropical drenching, fall is the best season in the “mid-Atlantic” region. Some say it’s the only nice season.

61 and beautiful here this morning. All the windows are open and the ceiling fans on. Time to air out the house.

Spring is rather nice for the one week it is usually here.

It’s definitely the nicer side. Spring and Summers are pretty solid, IMO, and in that order. Summer in the cities can be sticky but we’ve got room to run and a pool so that helps. Winters are pretty boring without any snow.

In all my years of storm-watching, I have never seen a spaghetti compilation like this:
