Today we remember the soldiers that gave it all on those Normandy beaches. The sacrifice they made can't be put into words. On that day, 4,414 Allied soldiers died and the Americans that lost their lives were 2501. In the ensuing battles after June 6, 73,000 Allied soldiers died, with 153,000 wounded.
A thank you to all that served that day and a very special thank you for those who lost their lives. We are forever grateful for your sacrifice.
