He is running as a mainstream Democrat. Every Democrat views Biden as a mainstream Democrat. He is running in the wrong lane. You would have to run to Biden's left.

I thought the right lane was largely just running as a younger Biden. Running to the left would lose the anti-Trump Republicans. Running to the right would lose the progressives. Biden has worked really hard to thread that needle and build a coalition, though gets zero credit for it.

The mainstream lane is the general election lane. But the way to beat Biden in the Democratic Party is to run in the progressive lane. At least that's my take. But it didn't happen.

Can someone explain to me why Democrat Dean Philips is not getting better numbers or more funding? What kind of inept campaign is he running that no one is aware there is a mainstream, former business CEO, elected Democrat running against Biden?
