Congrats Rogue! On to the LACC, who gets to host its 1st major championship. That's a rarity nowadays.

He was pretty banged up when he signed with LIV and it was tough for him to see himself being competitive on the PGA Tour anymore given the health of his knee at the time. I think he got $100 million from LIV.

Only 14 golfers ever have more majors than him. He’s tied with guys like Byron Nelson and Seve Ballesteros now with 5. Pretty incredible.
The narrative on Koepka long has been that he only really cares about the majors. To wit, for a guy that has 5 majors, it seems incredible that he only has 4 other PGA tour wins. And now that he is locked in for another 5 years to all the majors I don’t think he wants to go back to the grind of regular tour life. However, if he did, and he really wanted to get out of LIV, couldn’t he tank the LIV season and get relegated and then ask back on the tour? I’m sure Monahan would love a high profile defection back. But I can’t see Koepka intentionally not competing and screwing his team over, and his contract may not allow for relegation of the “star” players. What we have now is probably what he wants - fewer regular events and a schedule built around the majors.

I am happy for Brooks and agree Monahan and company would like him back on their tour. This was a good win for the LIV tour. They have a few great players there. Koepka is one of their best and probably the best right now. I think he’ll honor his contract and stay. I miss seeing him, DJ, Bryson, and others weekly on PGA tour events but it is what it is. The game is better when all of the stars like him play on the same tournaments in my opinion. He is a generational talent. He could definitely win a few more majors if not many more in his career. I know he really wants a green jacket as he has said as much. This was an incredible PGA championship. Oak Hill really impressed me yesterday and I am glad they had good weather. Next year at Valhalla in Louisville will be fun, too. Michael Block, the club pro from California, hit a hole in one yesterday and placed T15. He took home about $280ish K and qualified for next year’s PGA Championship. He also got invited to next week’s Charles Schwab tournament and the RBC Canadian Open. Awesome stuff.

You are right. Brooksy will cost folks 4 points most likely at LACC for the US Open. He’s the 13th ranked golfer in the world now in the OWGR. Scottie Scheffler is 1.

    Close but no cigar!

I had the #1, 2, & 3 finishers and still lost. The DTs and JTs killed me. I felt pretty good watching most of the tournament yesterday, but I didn't know Rogue had the first 3 players as well. I guess the US Open is up next.
