Not a problem, I’m here to learn .
The women tee off at 9:10am today if I have my time zones correct. Duke certainly isn’t favored but maybe Coach Brooks has some more NCAA magic.
Live scoring for the championship...
https://results.golfstat.com/public/...team&tid=26045
Of the 15 players in Duke’s pairing who started on #10, four double bogeyed, three bogeyed, seven parred, and one birdied.
With all the women having completed the first nine holes (10-18), the results are solid. Duke is tied for 3rd and does not trail any teams who started on the back 9. Duke leads its playing partners by 8 (SMU) and 14 (Clemson).
The big caveat is that the top 15 teams have not started yet.
Halfway through round one Duke is playing well and sits at -2, good for a tie for 3rd place.

This is always fun to follow via the live stats.
But for a relative newbie am I correct that
1) We want the team to end up in the top 8 so that they make the match play portion of the championship.
2) Prior to that they need to be in the top 15 so they play the final round of stroke play
Is that correct? (I am making these guesses based on Rogue's post about the schedule.)
Also note that senior Megan Furtney is currently atop the individual leaderboard (tied) at -3. She just got her degree in psychology along with an environmental science and policy minor this month. She's been a three-time ACC honor roll selection.
