Marty Pocius is a scout for Denver Nuggets

Thanks for doing this for all of us. Glad Marty Pocius is part of my Denver Nuggets! His position is listed as "Strategy and Planning / International Scout at Denver Nuggets".

I thought it was time to make a more definitive list of Duke people who are part of these 16 teams. I've covered the players and coaches, but I wouldn't be surprised if I were missing a few other names. Not every team has a media guide posted online, and even then, not every name in the organization lists a college affiliation.

    ATLANTA HAWKS

    AJ Griffin, Player
    Grant Hill, Co-Owner
    Jalen Johnson, Player
    Quin Snyder, Head Coach

Let me go ahead and anticipate your response so you don't have to do this...

"Jalen Johnson? Who? I don't care if he's in the image above. He quit on his team and I don't consider him part of the Brotherhood, even though Coach K and all the players do. I've been a fan before those players were born, and before Coach K set foot in Durham! I bleed Duke blue! I made it through the lean years! I went to Cameron before it was even called Cameron! I was there! Freddy Lind!"

    BOSTON CELTICS

    Joe Pagliuca, Board of Directors
    Steve Pagliuca, Co-Owner
    Jayson Tatum, Player

    BROOKLYN NETS

    Seth Curry, Player

    CLEVELAND CAVALIERS

    David Henderson, Scout
    Antonio Lang, Assistant Coach

    DENVER NUGGETS

(Jack White is not on the playoff roster.)

    GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS

    Mike Dunleavy Jr, Assistant GM

    LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS

    Dahntay Jones, Assistant Coach
    Mason Plumlee, Player

    LOS ANGELES LAKERS

No one. Why do people still root for this loser franchise?

    MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

    Tyus Jones, Player
    Luke Kennard, Player
    Zach Kleiman, GM (Duke Law)
    David McClure, Assistant Coach

    MIAMI HEAT

    Nick Arison, CEO
    Shane Battier, Strategic Advisor

    MILWAUKEE BUCKS

    Grayson Allen, Player

    MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES

    Wendell Moore Jr, Player
    Austin Rivers, Player

    NEW YORK KNICKS

    RJ Barrett, Player
(Trevor Keels is not on the playoff roster.)

    PHILADELPHIA 76ERS

    Alaa Abdelnaby, Announcer
    Elton Brand, GM

    PHOENIX SUNS

    (None to my knowledge.)

    SACRAMENTO KINGS

    Lindsay Harding, Assistant Coach

With Memphis down their two best bigs, and now Ja being hurt, plus they're already down a game, I wouldn't get your hopes up my friend.

Agreed. Not gonna happen. Not in this series. I’ll take the Lakers in 6 (and that’s being generous to Memphis).

I know it is a little cheap to make predictions after series have started but I'll do it anyway.

Sacramento over Golden State in 6
    Phoenix over Clippers in 7

Not sure this is the proper thread but just saw an item that Mike Brey will be joining Quin Snyder's staff in Atlanta.

Draymond just Laettner/Timberlaked Sabonis. Such a dirty player.

  9. #69
Laettner love tapped... Draymond stomped... Adam Silver is in the stands... btw, GSW is down 4 points with 7 minutes to go... Draymond has been ejected

Warriors had the momentum before that play. Now ?

  11. #71
Well, after the play, they tied the game at 93 but they miss Draymond's interior passing and defense. Down 1, 102 to 101... 3 minutes to go

Great game. Great atmosphere. DeAaron Fox is really fun to watch.

Warriors feel like the desperate team.

  13. #73
I see Golden State winning both games in San Francisco fairly handily. So then Game 5 will be pivotal.

That one is going to be a rock fight.

Why does Steph not shoot his normal jump shot late in games? He always attempts some wild off balance shots

  15. #75
I hope GSW can hold serve and everyone remains healthy because game 5 could be one of the most intense first round games of all time. Those fans are slightly riled up...

Youth and home court energy for the kings. Can the Warriors win 4 of 5 from here? A dynasty teeters …

I think because the defense is so laser-focused on stopping him from shooting. He simply cannot find a decent open shot.

I can’t root for a team with lots of Kentucky guys but I just have a feeling. I predicted Toronto the l year the one and the Suns to win the west two years ago when they weren’t supposed to

You are absolutely right about the Kings — they are a destructive force in front of their frenzied fans. But I don’t see the Kings being able to beat the Warriors in SF.

So really, Golden State just has to win either Game 5 or Game 7.

So Draymond Green is still S-Tier on my least favorite athletes rankings.
