Feels like we will play the Vols next. Their ball pressure and length really cause problems. Worried about this one. Likely to be a slog unless we hit our 3s.
Not so fast
13-0 run by the Cajuns and we have ourselves a game!
I think if Duke plays defense like its capable of and hits the boards, they should win. UT is not even outrebounding Louisiana. They are down their starting PG. I'm looking for another big defensive effort from Proctor.
i would think a Rick Barnes coached team should force turnovers, but as long as Duke keeps it reasonable (basically forcing as many as UT does), Duke wins on other merits.

I will never talk about That Game. GTHC.
Looks like it is Tennessee.
Early line has Duke by 2 but the computers like Tennessee by 3-5 points.
Obviously Tennessee is a different team without their point guard so perhaps that's not quite factored into the various models.
And the game is at 2:40 ET

Saturday schedule (all times ET): SDSU-Furman (12:10, CBS); Duke-Tennessee (2:40, CBS), Kansas-Arkansas (5:15, CBS); Missouri-Princeton (6:10, TNT); Houston-Auburn (7:10, TBS); Texas-Texas A&M/Penn St. (7:45, CBS); UCLA-Northwestern (8:40, TNT); Alabama-Maryland (9:40, TBS).
Well they are factoring it in if you look at the "last 10" ratings. Overall these models are based on descriptive data, ie, how you've played to season date and not how you're expected to fare moving forward. It would be interesting if someone built a predictive rating off of their data.

Boogie Ellis for USC. Totally forgot about him. He committed to Duke then backed out (I think because Tre was coming back), went to Memphis and is now at USC.
Michigan State is making USC look soft
