When you have so many pundits (many of whom are ex players and coaches) saying it was outside of what should be allowed in basketball, I feel like it's an NCAA problem, not a Duke recruiting or Duke youth problem. Oh, I don't disagree that the game shouldn't be cleaned up. I'd love it to be cleaned up. I just have no faith that the NCAA will, unless it's maybe in the title game on national TV and the lack of calls are so egregious that the NCAA can't hide its head in the sand... but short of that, call me a pessimist because I don't think it will happen. It should... but it won't. And even if the NCAA tries to clean it up, in any given game the calls can go haywire. So what's a workaround? One is recruit toughness guys, or as K used to call them, MF-ers. They would need to be good enough to get into the rotation, yet not so good that they are 1AD.
