Yeah, here on DBR. I'll add some value to the Tracking the ACC thread by updating each conference's records. Look for it at the end of each round.

I don’t much care who wins the last game tonight, IU v. Kent St. Maybe a slight preference for Kent, as the winner gets Miami.

But I just saw one of those plays that drive me crazy, that if a Duke player had done this, my response would be very ugly. Actually, my response, in a game I’ve watched very little, was ugly.

Kent St., down by 10 with 4-5 minutes to go, has a 3-on-1 fast break. The Kent guard, choosing style over a near-sure 2, throws a lousy, way-high, alley-oop, teammate can’t finish, not even close, Indiana rebounds, goes back down, scores 2. Kent could’ve cut the lead to 8, but a few seconds later the lead was 12 instead.

The far-too-frequent choice of style over the sure 2 is too dumb for words. I can only assume it’s some sort of ESPN Top 10 effect.

This one is tough. I'm usually happy to see 1-seeds fall, with one exception, but on the other hand, Bruce Pearl.

Hurts more seeing all these top seeds going down. Really felt like Duke could've gone far.

    Xavier is dog walking Pitt.

Pretty soon, it appears the ACC will be one team away from extinction in the 2023 NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

Forget about the ACC and just get onboard the University of Texas train.

Good night Pitt. Thanks for coming out.

80% of the ACC has failed to advance out the first weekend.

I would say 93% of the ACC has failed to make the Sweet 16.

Ehh, Pittsburgh not having Generalissimo Francisco Franco available really hurt. Kinda like a certain other team who was missing a key guy in a 2nd round game yesterday 🙄

Weird to see Miami play Indiana in the men's 2nd round about 24 hours before Miami plays Indiana in the women's 2nd round.

Omier could be the next Rodman. Kid has an unbelievable motor.

Wong, Omier and company key a comeback against Indiana, then build a 15 point lead at the under 4 timeout. Wong looked injured but was deadly. Omier grabbed a ton of offensive rebounds.

If Miami loses, it closes the book on the thought that this is a down year in the ACC. If they can win, the story is not over.

Geez, shades of Todd Leary from the '92 FF game vs. Indiana. Just draining 3s, hope the outcome is the same positive for the ACC now as then.

Good for Miami and the ACC. I don't remember the last time there wasn't an ACC team in the S16. Maybe never since the field expanded to 64?
