Was pulling for Miami but the 2 dunks when less than a minute in the game and Miami up big made it a bit hard.

Just Izzo and MSU, who always seem to be there.

Agreed. Though not as bad as the one by Florida Atlantic. Though kudos to FAU's coach for making it very clear that he did not approve.

Very likely no Big 10 championship - 23 years and counting.

If the other team is still trying to foul then dunk it. But the Florida Atlantic kid tried to dunk one when the other team had decided not to foul. That's poor form. Miami kid did nothing wrong I thought.

He could have pulled the ball back out and dribbled out the clock. Maybe should have. But I didn't think it was necessarily egregious.

And since the field expanded to 64 in 1985, kako is correct with six years to spare.

Rooting pretty hard for Miami. My bracket is awful so might as well have a team I respect whose coach I like win.

  10. #130
At halftime, Miami 42, Houston 36.

Miami playing well with only one turnover in the first half.

  11. #131
Miami up 17 now with 10 to go.
I gotta admit, I don't see the fouls that the refs are calling for Miami.

  12. #132
Would this be a first (since the expansion to a 64 team tournament, anyway) if no #1 seed makes it to the round of eight?

  13. #133
Miami might have some of SDSU syndrome. Huge lead but they keep jacking up shots early. Not smart.

A lot of contact with no calls

Followed by fouls called with little contact. IMO

    Yes.

Not sure about Final Four though. Maybe?

Edit: Twice for FF - 2006 and 2011

Also 1980 but that was pre 64

Things seem to be lining up for the Zags.

But so far tonight has been satisfying.

Hell yeah! Go Canes! Would love to see Coach L get another FF, maybe even a championship. He doesn’t have much coaching left and his team is very likable.

I've watched a LOT of the tournament and (unfortunately) UCONN looks like the best team left in the field...
