The coming out party for Dereck Lively 8 blocks 14 rebounds . Keep getting it Big Man! Tyrese Proctor was a great floor general and Jeremy came through.

Really happy the way they played. Very good defense n little fouling as well. They played a very good up tempo game n when they had the opportunities to run out with the ball they did!

This absolutely was a coming out party for Lively. I was amazed at the fire he showed. This should be a great sign for the rest of the season. I don't know why, but I have a very strong sense that he is a GREAT teammate!

I don't know if the game was just that good, my expectations were lowered, or I have reached a new level of zen maturity but that is the most I have genuinely enjoyed a basketball game in a long time. I wasn't yelling at refs, only slightly annoyed at ESPN's pointless split screen, even Jay Bilas didn't bother me tonight. It was just a really really fun basketball game.

Lots of examples but the one that struck a chord (for whatever reason) was the fawning of Jalen Washington....a 4 star top 40 freshman who has done very little to date all of the sudden gets the "he's going to a very very special player" comment from Bilas.

Just seemed very weird and out of place from Bilas....almost like he was throwing a bone at Hubert's relative lack of recruiting success.

I agree. The best thing to be said about Bilas is that he is not Vitale.

I had a similar reaction to Bilas comments regarding Washington. Washington did have a nice shot but the fawning seemed a bit excessive.

At the end of Gameday on ESPN when the four announcers make their predictions on four games. All four missed 3 out of the 4 games. For the Duke vs. Cheat game, 3 picked the Cheats and Bilas didn't pick a team. Instead, he put up a picture of himself. I believe he's got it in his contract he's not allowed to come out and support/cheer his former university. I believe he's also got it his contract, that he has to give shout outs to the Cheating University and not say any thing negative about that so-called university. I believe that was proven when the investigation was going on regarding the years of academic fraud. I don't remember one time he called out the Cheats.
