Bob Born's creation has now expanded beyond the candy isle and inflected the next bastion of sugar - the soda isle. I saw Peeps flavoured Pepsi today and wept for the humanity. Why? Soon the bread isle will fall too.

I am curious, not curious enough to actually try it but, what is Peeps flavor?

I always considered Peeps to be more of a texture than a flavor and I shudder to think how that would translate to a drink. Like Okra-cola?

I'm with Crazy. I eat Peeps and candy corn. Neither one is my favorite treat or anything, but I kinda like them both.

Flamed. Unless you say you hate turkey. Then all will be forgiven.

I got no issue with candy corn. I saw the Peeps Pepsi again when I filled gas today. Curiosity got the better of me and tried it. It’s got an overwhelming smell of marshmallow, a sickly sweet taste with the aftertaste of a diet soda. I didn’t care for it but I’ve had worse.

Just now weighing in on this important argument.

Can't stand candy corn. They are from the same demonic origin as circus peanuts and those colored easter eggs with the white centers (not sure they make them anymore - good riddance!).

But, I love me some peeps. The new flavors are actually really good. I had some peppermint ones this year at Xmas that were flavored with real peppermint oil. I have had Red Hot ones that were good, too. And the cocoa ones were tasty as well. Yeah, you get several weeks' worth of sugar in one bite, but hey, YOLO!
