For more than four decades as our voice Bob Harris was synonymous with @DukeFOOTBALL and @DukeMBB and now he needs our help. Recent health issues have necessitated full-time care - anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

For any of you that enjoyed Bob’s golden voice calling Duke games, I urge you to contribute as well. He gave us so much enjoyment over the years
I was able to listen to Bob on many broadcasts via SiriusXM long after moving out of BlueDevil Radio network territory. Miss him, donated.
I'm so sorry this is happening to him. Donated.
For many of us, he and Wes will always be the voice of the Blue Devils. Donated. Also sending good thoughts to Bob and his family.
Donated. I’ll make another donation to Alzheimer’s research if someone can recommend a good foundation.
This is heartbreaking. I got to know Bob and Phyllis a bit through the many years of the Duke Children's Classic. My last name is Harris, so I used to jokingly call him Uncle Bob. Some of the nicest people I have ever known.
Bob was the nicest man. He took the time to speak to my 3 year old daughter at the “pepper alley” before the UNC football game in 1994, and thrilled her by introducing her to the mascot. His words will always remain in my memory. Best wishes to the family and glad to help.
I was blessed to play in Bob's Charity Golf Tournament for years. Such a nice man. Donated.
Prayers!
Bob is deep blue to the core. I'm happy to contribute.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

GoDuke!
donated. Met Bob Harris right after Christmas in local grocery store. Very nice, had no idea he had health issues.
Bob wrote a book called 'How Sweet It Is! From the Cotton Mill to the Crows' Nest'. It was released in 2010.
Many great stories and the book comes with a CD with some of his classic radio calls.
The book is available at the Duke Stores.
