they guys who left/walked senior day this year
    andre harris no eligability left
    brian foley no eligability left
    chance lyttle no eligability left
    elijah wrotten injury
    maurice mcintyre injury
    ron carr never developed
    john gelotte never developed
sure, but that's some round about reasoning since we SHOULD have Carr and Gelotte contributing next year, so we would have more than 8 returning OL guys..when redshirt juniors contribute nothing, that's a player development issue...

anyway, let's hope the guys Elko recruits turn out to be keepers ...good thing is we already have two good OL via the portal at this point, hopefully more to come...

oline recruiting has been an issue for years. you must sign 4-5 guys every year and duke simply doesnt. 2023 only 3. 2022 only 3. 2021 only 2 and one of those plays te. 2021 we got 4. thats only 12 guys over 4 years and every kid doesnt pan out out the level we recruit at. hopefully the new staff has a better eye for talent and can develop these kids.

preferred walk on at this point, but he started 20 straight games for Penn and other teams such as Wisconsin and UCLA were wanting him as well, so this sounds good (plus he's apparently a Wharton kid and we all know how great they are!)

DBR Wharton population > some other Wharton undergrad alums who have been making a lot of headlines lately...

He's a Wisconsin kid who set the national U18 bench press record so clearly has some strength.

Our Penn alum Head Coach has worked out pretty well.
Probably didn't hurt this player's decision.

yeah, second team all Ivy. Burns and Dillon certainly helped from the Ivy League this past year, plus the kid from Harvard at DE...nice niche for us.

Sure, Duke provides warmer weather, great academics, good sports. I'm a Penn/Duke grad myself.

there are evidently a bunch of us. Since Duke prez Vinnie Price came from Penn, I think he should hold a special event for us. Just because.
