Flipped over to watch the end of CHeats-Alabama which has gone into three overtimes. Neither team has looked particularly impressive. Alabama with a lot of one on one dribbling. CHeats with some bad decisions and bad shots. Bacot still throwing those elbows out leaning into the screens.

Alabama tried hard to give them the game. CHeats gave it right back. They’re still a good team but right now they largely look like a bunch of guys the NBA didn’t want.

Watched the 4 OT’s and both teams seemed to try to give the game to the other team but neither seemed to want it.

I can understand IC going after Hubert, as Bacot did not play the last 2 overtimes for some reason. Their transfer sharpshooter Nance did not play during any of the overtimes.

Their offense consisted of Love and Davis dribbling around and then taking wild shots.

They got hot at the right time last season. They are showing now they are who we thought they were.

Davis Love with a round of 60?

That would be great for the PGA player (Tarheel alum) but not a great stat for basketball success.

Hubert just letting his guards jack up contested shots. Either Manek was the key to that offense last year or they just got on a lucky run. Looking forward to playing them. I actually think both Young and Flip will match up better on Bacot than Williams last year. I also like Proctor/Blakes on Love. Proctor’s defense is underrated.

Also Mitchell/Flip can blanket nance. He’s a great shooter but not nearly as mobile as Manek.

Yea he was out there but it was easy to miss him. Nance played great against Portland but he was a total dud yesterday.
