Zion, I would argue, is unique in all basketball history as an outstanding combination of strength and power, athleticism, and skill. Many people would agree with a good bit of that. He has the beginnings of a world-wide fan base.
It is in his own interest to communicate to his fans and the basketball world at large his eagerness to return to the court.
I can't understand why he doesn't. And I would also note he has made some poor decisions in the past, such as in contracts. I am inclined to think he is being advised poorly.
I have met him twice, and he seemed to be nice and genuine. I wish him nothing but the best
