Clearly? I thought it was like 6 inches at most. I guess that all it takes, but quite close...I hate VAR/offsides kinda...Was a great shot off the post to score, but nullified by leaning across the imaginary line.

It was a matter of inches but the right call. Looked pretty clear to me although it was by just a matter of inches. It was the right call by the sideline referee.

Looked like a pretty obvious call to me as well. I've got no problems with it as long as the USA wins...otherwise, I reserve the right to ask a mod to edit this statement and say it was a horrible call.

An excellent first half. We totally dominated the play, and eventually broke through. Both fullbacks had their way with Iran’s flanks, and our midfield was dominant.

The key now will be putting up a better second half than we did against Wales.

Hope Pulisic is ok. And I hope the team is ready to give another 45+ minutes of high-intensity play. Getting a second goal early in the half would be huge. But continue to strangle out any chances for Iran as they did in the first half. Keep Turner’s jersey nice and clean!
