#4 Arkansas was 5-0 coming into the tournament. None of those opponents were ranked. Today they lost twice, both to ranked ACC teams (FSU and Duke).

#19 Duke is now 2-3 against ranked opponents, 4-4 overall. Two more to go this weekend with #20 UCF (Saturday) and #25 Michigan (Sunday).

Well I think its a known issue with such a young infield. It just means the offense has to make up for it with more run production.
Its the same as high turnovers in Basketball. Its frustrating to watch but it goes with the territory for young players.

Duke Redshirt-Freshman Shortstop Jada Baker just made a run-saving play with two outs on a hot ground ball up the middle and a throw from the knees to nail the batter at first with a runner on third streaking home. Its a double-edged sword.

Not sure why, but Kristina Foreman (our great second baseman for the last several years) transferred to Arkansas. Her replacement has not been fielding well. Unfortunately, we play against Kristina this afternoon.

It sounds like Foreman just wanted a change, but still in a top-notch program.
