Game 2 featured our competitive pitchers (Davidson, Wright, and Curd) for all 5 innings. Curd with another 5K and 2BB - she's just way too good for Central, although she needs to work on her control a little.

Next up: ACC Play against Notre Dame. If I recall correctly, we played @ND last year for 1 game, with the other two games rained out, and lost that one game. So even though they're not ranked, this is not going to be necessarily an easy series.

Duke loads bases with no outs then hits a sac fly to score one. 2nd and third one out now for duke

Edit but then we have a brutal strikeout. Not scoring more than one here would be a big oof

Wow, a hard ground ball hits the runner, Vega, to end the B4 with 2 on base.

OMG tapia hits a line drive that should have scored 2….except that it hits Vega as she ran from 2nd. Auto out inning over duke still trails 4-3.

Just a brutally bad end to that inning where we should’ve at least tied it

Duke follows this bad mistake on offense with allowing a single and an error on a bunt. This is turning into a bad game real quick

Vega just a miserable day. No idea why she even threatened bunt and then strikes out. Just brutal.
