Tom Brady is actually a really smart, thoughtful, articulate guy with a surprisingly good sense of humor. I think he has the potential to be great at commentating.

The reason he comes across as safe and monotone during his press conferences is because unlike Aaron Rodgers he is smart and savvy enough to know how to play it, and to protect his team and his teammates and his brand. But he won’t need to do that anymore when he’s freed from being part of a football team.

But he won’t need to do that anymore now that he is no longer part of a football team.

I enjoyed his interview on Howard Stern a few years ago and think he can be very good at the job. However, I’m not sure how long he will stay interested as others have mentioned.

Football replay is frustrating in that no one has any clue what they're going to call in a given situation. Last night was clearly defined and they missed it. Football replays are just anarchy.
