Tree trouble left for Thomas. Will try a big, low hook, which he he pulls off. Pitch and putt needed for par.
Almost holes the short pitch, pars 18. Is now at #71.
Weather delay.

That's some cruel fate. Both Justin and Adam Scott barely miss out. Scott had a 63 on Sunday.

Looking like LIV won the war. The PGATour will be almost unrecognizable next year. Lots of changes.

We've talked about whether Justin Thomas makes the Ryder Cup team, and he just dropped another spot in the standings to #15. He'll probably drop another spot after this week, because less than 200 points behind him at #16 is Lucas Glover. I know I'd take red-hot Lucas right now over Justin. Though Zach hasn't called.
But the big news is that Brooks dropped from the automatic top 6 spots to #7 (because he's ineligible for the FedEx Cup playoffs). Now that's gonna be interesting.

Justin Thomas fires -5, 67 at The Fortinet Championship in the 2nd round hitting 17/18 greens and sits T4 at -8. Has he found his form just in time for The Ryder Cup?
JT cards a -7 65 at The Fortinet Championship. He’s -15 overall and T2, two shots back of the lead. His play this weekend thru 3 rounds of golf would support the thought processes for choosing him for the U.S. Ryder Cup team.
