Leishman was -6 and vying for the lead with 5 holes to play...and went +5 over those 5 holes to finish T60.
Cantlay was -5 and top-10 until he doubled the 18th to end T30.
That's golf. Lot's of play left.
Xander puts it in the drink on a par 3, takes penalty drop, chips in from 30 feet for par. Now that's a save.

I just feel the need to respond to this somehow, and CameronDuke, this isn't meant as a slam at you or anyone else in this thread. But the assumption seems to be that almost everyone is going to opt for big money given a choice, and I can speak as someone who turned down a job offer that would have roughly doubled my annual income. I decided that I'd be happier continuing to do what I had been doing, and never looked back. YMMV.
Yes, Tiger was all about his place in history...as he made a bundle of money.
Lefty made $95M in Tour purses alone. A year ago he was one of the all-time top-5 stories in golf when he became the oldest major championship winner. And while you may agree or disagree with his move to LIV, there is no question he has tarnished his image.
Legacy matters to some. But who are we to judge, because none of these golfers give a crap what we think.
Edit: Tiger only made $121M in purses. I was shocked.

I feel this is a very polarizing topic. There are those who feel that taking the Saudi money is an inexcusable act because of the human rights abuses of that regime. And there are the folks who feel that it's easy to play the stone thrower when no one is offering you nine figure checks to play less golf.
I definitely don't think that money excuses any and all misgivings. But I do find the selective outrage with golfers taking the money to be rather amusing, given the long and sordid history of a relationship between our country and Saudi Arabia.
Right now, there isn't a single player who was in the top 20 in the FedEx Cup Standings in the top 10 in the St Jude. I'm sure that will change at some point over the weekend, but for the moment... none of us is doing all that well in the standings.
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
Do we have a handy list of everyone that everyone picked? Makes it easier to track who I am rooting for and rooting against.
I my be wrong, but I think no one in the top 4 coming into the weekend is on anyone's team.
Of course, this is really barely worth paying attention to until the Tour Championship. The money won there dwarfs everything that happens this week and next (though winning these two weeks sets you up nicely to win the Tour Champ).

Posted this on the Dukie golfer thread, thought y'all might want to know:
For anyone interested, the Tour website leaderboard has a neat feature where you can specify your favorites, so you don't have to scroll through the leaderboard to see what they're up to.
