The 2nd Round scheduled to recommence at 07:00 am. Streelman is playing #6, his 15th hole, so he has four holes remaining to finish his round. He is currently Even Par for the tournament.

Not sure the cut line will be kind to Alex this morning. He just needs 3 players to drop, but winds are low at under 10 mph and the greens will be soft with all the rain. That could also mean not much run-out on the fairways (I hope it's not lift clean & place) and a very sticky rough. We (and Alex) won't know for a couple of hours, some players have 11 holes left.

The projected cut line just moved to +2! Hold on, baby!!!
Edit 5 minutes later: And back to +1 . I can't watch.

Saturday morning was not kind to Kevin Streelman. He played four holes bogey, bogey, bogey, par, and will miss the cut.

Unbelievable. Alex backs into the weekend. If just 1 player at +2 had been +1, he would have missed.
Time to make it pay off. Winning is out of reach, but a top-20 is not if he plays well. Biggest purse in golf, the top 41 players make over $100K. A top-20 would get him over $330K.

Interesting tidbit (to me, anyway). Of the players that made the cut, Alex played the worst 2nd round. He fell the farthest (furthest? - that doesn't sound right, but I think it's the correct usage because of the verb meaning). He's a smart dude, I'm sure he realizes his good fortune and takes advantage.
It will be threesomes front and back today. Alex tees off #10 at 12:20.

Alex just hopped and dunked his ball for an ace on the island hole at the Players. Today’s hole location is very tough (as if the shot to that green isn’t daunting enough).
More great Duke karma during this terrific weekend!
Alex Smalley just accomplished this fete on the notorious 17th hole island green.

After just doubling 16th...quite a recovery.
All three, Kevin, Adam, and Alex, will try again this Thursday on Copperhead at the Innisbrook Resort in Florida, All three need to turn things around, especially Adam and Kevin. Good luck to all.
Did Alex find his mojo? Great start, -3 and currently T2. He was one of the first golfers out, so a lot of golf left today.

Adam with a badly needed -3, currently T11. He needs to hold or improve that position through the weekend.
Kevin with a badly needed birdie on the last to finish +1 and move within the cut.
Alex just started his round.

Looks like Long will finish just outside the Top 10 at -3 and only four shots off the lead. Kevin will make the cut on the number +1.
Surprised Alex isn't playing in the Dominican Republic next week. Last year he finished T2 for his best finish on the tour. He also has a T14 and T22 at the event, he seems to like the course. Yes it's an opposite field tournament (against Match Play), but points are points.

Streelman with an excellent front nine today. He shot -3 (33) with four birdies and one bogey. On to back nine…
