In addition to our three guys at Pebble Beach, Max Greyserman wiil play far to the south in Panama. This will be the third tourney in this year's KFT. Max is #11 in The 25 (now top 30?). And, reappearing on the PGA European Tour is Julian Suri. This week's event is in the United Arab Emirates.
Terrible day for Alex, +2 and currently T132. He's got a lot of work to do to make the cut, but at least he has 2 days to do it. Also, Spyglass is the hardest of the 3 courses so he has it out of the way and 2/3 of the field still has to face it. Finally, lots of rain predicted tomorrow so we'll see if he's a mudder.

How tough was Spyglass? Only 10 of the top 60 scores were on it today, and only 2 of the top 23.

A forecasted day of rain has turned into showers ending mid- to late-morning. Alex luckily drew a late tee time, so maybe he can make up ground. And he's playing the easiest course.

Alex with a fabulous -4 to move up 73 spots to T57 (-1 overall). Only 5 guys had a better day.
Adam also at -1, but Spyglass looms tomorrow. Kevin (T108) has a lot of work to do to play Sunday.

Alex birdies 18 to make the cut on the number! All three Dukies make the cut.
I thought they were going to play the final round tomorrow, but they're off front-and-back in threesomes. I don't know when it gets dark out there, but I don't think the leaders will finish. Most of the field will and can catch their Sunday flights.

Alex takes a snowman. Oh well, he'll make some money and get some FedEx Cup points anyway.

In the KFT Panama Classic a new Duke name appeared, Frenchman Adrienne Pendaries ('21). The new pro played last year in secondary European events. This year he has qualified to play on the PGA LatinAmerica Tour. Both he and Max Greyserman failed to make the Korn Ferry Panama cut.
Next stop on the Tour is Phoenix. Adam and Kevin are in the field. And, the Korn Ferry moves to Bogota, Columbia, Max Greyserman and Ryan Blaum are playing. I don't believe Ryan has played yet this year. This stop will end the KFT outside the U.S., next is Savannah.
While it was a dismal opening day today in the Bahamas for our the Duke women (better days ahead?), it was only a bit better for Duke alums this weekend. Adam Long finished T42 in Phoenix but Kevin Streelman missed the cut. And in the Korn Ferry Max Greyserman finished T49 but Ryan Blaum missed the cut. Over in the European Julian Suri failed to make the final two days. He has not made a cut since last September.
At the Genesis Open at Riviera, Kevin Streelman posted an excellent -3 and, for now, is T-5. Adam and Alex have not teed off.
Smalley eagles #10 - his 2nd hole!
After 3-putting from 12 feet, Alex threw in the towel. Disappointing, hope it's not an injury that caused the meltdown. I hope he shakes it off and plays well next week.

Kevin Streelman shot 68, 71 respectively on Thursday and Friday, and will play the weekend. He is currently T21 at -3.
