Streelman cards nine straight pars on the back nine to finish his round -3 (68) to improve to -2 for the Championship. He is currently T24.

Smaller and Long both tied for 16th and Streelman 20th. Hope one or more can make a run.

Be watching a lot more golf now.

Probably too far back to win, but a top-10, even top-5, definitely within reach with a strong round. All three could use it.

Jordan Spieth with an interesting round. Starts with an eagle, and then over the course of the round goes (not on consecutive holes) birdie, bogie, birdie, bogie, birdie, bogie, birdie, bogie, birdie, bogie.

But speaking of consecutive, our boys do have consecutive tee times tomorrow. 11:55, 12:05, 12:15.

Holes 6,7,8 knocked both Long and Streelman back. Oh well.

He cost himself over 30 FedEx Cup points on that hole. That could bite him in the playoffs.

37 points to be (roughly) exact. And about $130,000. He has 407 points on the year, so it's a big deal.

He's pretty much guaranteed of keeping his card, and if he maintains his pace he will most probably land in the top 70. But making the top 30 (Tour Championship) comes with a LOT of perks, including exemptions to all majors the following year.

Adam Long will play in the PGA tourney in the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) beginning Thursday. Max Greyserman and Ryan Blaum are in Savannah in the resuming Korn Ferry schedule. Also, Adrien Pendaries ('21) is now a regular on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica and will play in Buenos Aires this week. Still another Duke alum Chandler Eaton ('20) is attempting to qualify for the PGA Tour Canada.

Adam misses the cut in one of the weakest fields of the year. He's in very bad shape in the FedEx Cup, falling to #143 and about 30 points behind #125. Opportunities are becoming limited, he won't be in the majors or The Memorial, and only The Open has an opposite field event.

He, Alex, and Kevin are all playing in Texas. Last chance to qualify for The Masters.

As far as this weekend, could we see a Scottie-Rory final in the last Match Play?

The leader late yesterday bogeyed her last two holes. Celine Boutier leads by 1 going into the final round.

For those like me who didn't have a clue, the tournament is the Drive On Championship in Arizona (on Golf Channel this evening). Leona Maguire won the tournament last year and is seven strokes back (tied for 39th). Come on, Celine, let's make it two in a row for the Duke alumnae.

What could have been...Sam & Cam beat Scottie & Rory (both in overtime) in the semifinals.

Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with Duke alums.

In Savannah at the Korn Ferry Club Car Championship Max Greyserman shot 74,68,67,65 for T6. He is #16 now on the Top 30 list which grants PGA Tour cards.

Celine needed to get up and down on 18 to make birdie and force a playoff with Georgia Hall. She makes the 5-6 footer and on to the playoff.

And she wins on the first playoff hole!

Thanks for the heads up that this was on btw!

Celine wins on 1st playoff making another 5-footer for birdie😀😀.

Third tournament win in her career and win propels her to No. 1 in CME standings.

Alex was -1 and T4 for about 5 minutes. Then blew up.
