There are two of us and each is allocated a total of six utensils per meal...seems extremely logical to me! Includes preparatory implements as well such as spatulas, measuring spoons, etc...

Have NOT had my maple creemee yet this year! Mowing the lawn this morning, this could be my reward...trying to shed a few Covid pounds this month...

But you touch on a good point, "previous use." I will use one insulated drinking glass for a number of days since I only use it for unsweetened tea, seltzer water and the like, while my wife goes through 4-5 cups per day...

I think he intentionally said it in a somewhat backwards way to make a point, though I am still trying to figure that one out.

I am not a big cereal guy (mainly eat honey nut cheerios). What I usually do is put in the cereal then put in the milk. However, there is inevitably a fair amount of milk left so I will then pour additional cereal in to backfill the leftover milk. So I was kind of doing what he suggested, though I assume he was likely referring to the first round, not the refill.

That's like at Thanksgiving dinner having the turkey and the cranberry jelly come out even. If it doesn't, you have to go back and get another helping of whichever is lacking until it does finally come out even. Or you explode. Whichever comes first!
