I was just thinking about this a month ago, after seeing Jason Jones in TV's "The Flight Attendant" and Jessica Williams in the most recent Fantastic Beasts movie.
For a late night person, Jon Stewart's Comedy Tree is second only to that of Lorne Michaels. I'm pretty sure Stephen Colbert was a correspondent on "The Daily Show" when Craig Kilborn hosted, but he didn't become what he is today until Jon Stewart arrived.
