The two American men will play 13, 17, 18.

    Par 5, driveable 4 and 18.

The aggregate score winner will hoist the Wanamaker trophy.

Mito’s tee shot on 18 was a disaster. His swing was way too fast. I feel for him.

Justin Thomas wins his 2nd PGA Championship.

His 2nd major. He’s just 29. He won this tournament in 2017 at Quail Hollow outside Charlotte too.

    Roll Tide.

Lots of good value in the low-number guys, I think. Some solid players that only cost 2 or 3.
    Good call.

I had JT and Cam Young, 2 of the top 3/4... I checked and no one who had JT had Zala and I know no one had Mito. I'm feeling pretty good about my chances of winning this thing right now...

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?

Slow down there, Rod Tidwell. On page one of this thread, I see two people who had both JT and Zalatoris:

    Team CDu:

    Morikawa (7)
    J. Thomas (5)
    D. Johnson (4)
    Koepka (3)
    Finau (3)
DeChambeau (3) - if he plays; if not Sungjae Im (3)
    Zalatoris (3)
    Woods (2)

    Winning score: -10

    Rogue

    Cameron Smith 7
    Rory Mcllroy 6
    Justin Thomas 5
    Dustin Johnson 4
    Will Zalatoris 3
    Brooks Koepka 3
    Cameron Young 2

Looks to me like Rogue probably won - that is really impressive.

Rogue lead after rounds 1 and 2, had a slight hiccup in round 3, but bounced back with the trifecta to claim this years virtual Wannamaker trophy. Congrats Rogue!!

Congrats to Rogue - very impressive. The financial impact of Mito’s play on the 18th was substantial.

Congrats Rogue! After day 2 I knew it would come down to Ancer vs Young/McIlroy/Smith. And while Ancer stayed close to the top, he didn't keep up with Young, and that was the difference. 1st, 2nd, and T3rd is an amazing run. Great job!

Thanks everyone. Thanks to mkrish and the Degenerate PGA committee for hosting again.

As all of you know, there is little to no skill involved in my picks. I'm old. I think JT, Spieth, Rory, Bubba are the young golfers ( phil tiger are the old ones lol ).. They are not young anymore.

It seemed like there was carnage on every hole by the 3 last groups. Zalatoris on hole 6 ?? shaking my head. Wasn't even close to the green on a par 3 .Par 3's that were 250 yards too lol.

Agreed, that drive on 18 was worth a million $$$$ to my credit .

Congrats Rogue. I guess every generation needs its van de Velde (though I think Rogue would have won even without the Mito Meltdown).

Congrats to the winner and thanks for sagerouse for keeping me from coming in last. Appreciate the work to do all the math and post the winners, etc. Adds a little bit of fun to the golf.

I really feel for Mito. What an incredible way to lose a tournament. I feel like Mito lost more than JT won. I also feel like Will had so many chances to take this tournament on Sunday and just couldn't cash in on them. Add me to the list of people that enjoyed the Tiger-free coverage on Saturday (go the field).

Thanks to all who played or contributed their time to run this contest! Even though I seldom get close to the top (I actually won once when DeChambeau kind of surprised everybody), it's always fun to play.

That tee box swing from Mito had the look of panic. I thought he might have second-guessed himself in the middle of his swing. Feel bad for him, but it was great to see an American win.

We will all remember that driver swing on 18, but imagine how it would have played out if his putt on 17 had made just one quarter more of a revolution. Golf is a cruel game of inches.
