We are probably set a guard depending on Blakes. If he transfers out, we'll need a combo guard to come off the bench. Our only real possible problem is SF. I think Mitchell can handle it, but we could use a backup SF who is more defender than scorer.

But, this group of recruits does fit better. The Zion year had 3 top guys who all basically played the same style. With no perimeter shooting to open up the lane, we were doomed.

This past year, Keels and AJG were basically operating in the same area on the court, which, unfortunately, was Dell's favored area as well.

We can, and should throw rocks at Roy's recruiting. But he's been much better at assembling complimentary parts than has K. K's recruits were more talented, but Roy's often fit better.

I know that positionless hoops is all the rage. But that just means that 3-4 guys can do lots of different stuff on O. People still need positions on D, and while many of K's recent classes were long on offensive flexibility, they were woefully short on defensive interchangeability, and even less so on willingness or ability to defend, full stop.
