Thank GOD AJ hit that prayer.
Duke ends the half 3-13 from 3. That prayer at the buzzer raised Duke’s 3-point shooting % to 23.1%. I hope that % increases in the 2nd half.

Big one from Griffin.
I'll say it again...this is the most frustrating Duke team I've ever watched.
This should not be a competitive game.
Lack of killer instinct and considering we've only won once in a one possession game....this doesn't bode well.
Based on the stats, that was a HORRIBLE shot by AJ! For shame, AJ!!!
Miracle shot helps, but otherwise a pretty hideous end to the half.
It’s nice to have one of those 1st half buzzer beaters go in our favor! (thinking of Syracuse in Cameron in 2019)
Wide open 3s, wide open FTs. Left about 8-10 points off our total.
Roach solid. Banchero needs to get ball closer to basket, not drift outside, and no behind back in traffic.
Duke is hitting 1/1 on circus 3-pointers. They should shoot more of these types of shots.
Now more seriously: Louisville scored 18 points in the last 5 minutes. Our offense is doing fine, defense just buckled towards the end of the half.
Shot poorly but played really well. Credit Louisville for their response from about the 13 minute mark. They played great the last part of the half. Roach was superb, and John was great off the bench.
Unacceptable first half performances by Wendell and Paolo. We're lucky that other players have stepped up, and lucky that we're playing a bad team.
Glad some of y'all aren't coaching. The threes just weren't dropping. Maybe only one or two was a bad or forced shot, all others were in the flow of the offense. You don't tell players to stop shooting simply because they are missing, you tell them to stop shooting when they are bad and forced shots.
Need more from the senior and junior captains on the road in ACC games.
#13 and #0 are 1-9 overall, 0-5 from 3 with 2 points so far.
The future potential top overall pick has a quiet 5 and 5.
Theo played arguably his best half of the game overall this year.
Roach played well in the starting role (4 assists, 0 turnovers).
Williams needs to foul less.
Griffin played the best offensively with 12 and 2-2 3-point shooting.
Don’t want to see Duke in another close game! I believe they have lost more than they’ve won in the conference during close ones.
We need Mark to stay on the floor and Paolo to assert himself on offense. Also, it would be nice to get the good-shooting version of Wendell back.
Also, Mark and Paolo need to adjust to how the game is being called (although I do think it’s been very inconsistent).
These close games are incredibly important and help in the long run. Duke did everything right that half except make shots. Hard to do on the road. Defense and ball security were just superb. Sometimes shots don't go in on the road, but defense travels.
Any idea what’s happened to Wendell? Not looking for any speculation. Is his poor play recently a result of long Covid issues?
