Hahaha…for some reason my wordle opened to yesterday’s word this morning (even though it was 7A). I had a sneaky suspicion when my first two guesses produced no letters…but I still couldn’t make myself enter that word and tried the other similar word. I guess I get to reboot and try today’s again.

Interesting. that was my third guess, but I honestly did not think they would accept it as a word.

I know, I'm still not quite sure it's a common word. The online dictionaries show it as a synonym of ... well, a word pronounced the same but with two different ending letters. And I know where your hyphen guess is coming from as well (a completely different meaning of the word). But since it is accepted, I like the combination and placement of the letters as a first-guess word.
