    RIP Dwayne Hickman

Always enjoyed watching reruns of the “Many Loves of Dobie Gillis” as a kid.

You watched reruns as a kid. I anxiously awaited new episodes as a kid. Tuesday night at 7:30, IIRC.

    Maynard G. Krebs*: “WORK!?!”

    *Spelling might be wrong

Unfortunately, so do the younger females I futility attempt to flirt with. So far they smile and I haven’t been slapped. They think of me as a crazy old grandpa. Which I am.

The Dobie Gillis-Zelda Gilroy romance was one of TV's great love stories.

    Well, in Zelda's mind, anyway.

    RIP, Dobie.

In a couple of reunion shows, Dobie and Zelda were a married couple. So she was evidently correct about the nose wrinkling thingy that Dobie always returned. "Now cut that out!"
Man, if your Mom made you wear that color when you were a baby, and you're still wearing it, it's time to grow up!
